Welcome to Year 3!

I’m Miss Jones, the Year 3 class teacher, and I’m so excited to share all the wonderful things we’ve been doing this term! I’m fortunate to work alongside Mrs. Hayward, our fantastic teaching assistant, who brings so much energy and support to our classroom.

This term, our theme is "Inspire Me!", where we’re diving into what inspires us in our learning and everyday lives. I can’t wait to share pictures of our activities and projects as we explore creativity and inspiration together.

Our PE days are on Monday and Wednesday, so please make sure your child wears their PE kit to school on those days.

In Year 3, we value creating a calm and focused learning environment. We start each day with meditation and prayer, helping us to reflect, relax, and set a positive tone for the day ahead. It’s a time that the children really look forward to and helps us thrive as a class. 
 

In Year 3, we place a strong focus on living as followers of Christ, learning to grow in faith, love, and kindness each day. Through our lessons, prayers, and acts of service, we strive to reflect the teachings of Jesus in our words and actions.

Our students are encouraged to live out the Gospel values by showing compassion, being respectful, and helping those in need. Together, we explore how faith shapes our lives, both in and outside of the classroom, and work to build a strong, caring community rooted in love for God and one another.

This year, we are excited to deepen our understanding of what it means to live a Christ-centered life, guided by Catholic teaching and a shared commitment to following in Jesus' footsteps.
